Do you consider the people you work with to be a positive benefit of your present employer? If you answered yes, you might be among the 71% of employees surveyed in a recent Randstad survey who said that liking their co-workers was a reason to say in their job.
The study of 6357 employees of all ages from all size of companies was conducted in December 1999. According to their results, 7 in 10 of those polled said they feel loyal to their employer although more than 50% said they feel it is foolish to commit to one employer for an entire career. Surprisingly, 69% said they would like better health insurance rather than a raise. According to Randstad spokesman, Daryl Evans, the most striking result was the commonality of all the information across generations.
